Baribal – Pocket Square

The Black Bear, also called Baribal, is the most common bear in North America. At one point, there were approximately two million Black Bears roaming in the wild. Long hunted for their fur, they now have to face the continuous shrinking of their natural habitat mainly caused by human activity. Unfortunately, there are now between 500,000 and 750,000 black bears left on the continent. Next time you’re out for a walk in a park, take into consideration that you are walking through the Baribal’s home. We must all be respectful of their habitat.
